Thank you for your interest in the Teacher Resource, a Youth With A Mission (YWAM) ministry that partners qualified and gifted teachers with schools, seminars and conferences around the world. Our purpose is to help fill the need for teachers in various training programs and to make known the need for teaching opportunities.

All of our teachers, whether experienced or just beginning their teaching ministry, are screened through an application and reference process. Teachers who serve this ministry have a variety of backgrounds from both within and outside the YWAM organization. Since our main emphasis is to target filing teaching needs for training programs that cannot afford to pay speakers, teachers can expect not to have airfare nor honorariums paid for providing teaching services and should expect to raise all funding through family, friends and churches. The following procedures need to be met in order to qualify for teaching:

1. Complete Application Form and return
2. Send 3 References: One from your pastor, supervisor or YWAM leader; and two other references
3. Complete Topic Survey, recording results on the application form. Keep the survey as a reference
4. If needed, complete the Spiritual Giftedness Test and return (not available yet)
5. Send outline of teaching material to be presented if you have a topic(s) already prepared

If you are a young teacher or do not have any experience, do not be discouraged by this process. If God has given you a teaching gift and you have a desire to go, then we will help you in the preparation process. We also operate the Teaching and Ministry Training Seminar to equip new ministry teachers.

Once the application is completed, we will work with you to provide opportunities, set-up itinerary, educate on needed vaccinations, visas, and cultural information, so that you can have the best possible experience as you share your giftedness with those in need.
