"I learned to help people and ask people to remind me to be a Christian. That takes a lot of trust. I learned to trust," said Tony. Stephanie remembered the houses in the barrio and told the group that those people were not the only ones who were poor. They have more, if they have Jesus, than those with million-dollar homes in the United States. She commented on how hard it was to reach the rich back home.
Penny asked the group how they could remember what they had done the past couple of weeks. One student felt called to start a Bible study for the girls in their youth group. Kim talked about how prayer changed her life the past two weeks and reminded the group to continually pray for one another and find people who would keep them accountable.
Jerry closed by asking the group if the preparation and gathering of funds was worth it now that the trip had come to a close. Sean summed up many of the student's feelings, saying, "Seeing one person get saved made the whole trip worth it."
