Christian workers helping to feed and care for orphans and the elderly as the country's economic collapse leaves hospitals and other government institutions without even basic supplies have issued an "SOS" appeal for help.


  

Cultural differences that are turning former neighbors into


enemies should be used instead to make thembrothers and sisters - in Christ - according to the leader of aunique ministry that uses local traditions to share the gospel.   

Rolling out the red carpet can become a springboardfor missions, says an organization that believes that making people feel at home can fire them to take the gospel to the far corners of the world. 

 

There has been a silver lining in the dark cloud of violence and disorder which has hung over  the country for the past few weeks, say returning missionaries who have found "a new level" in the young national church.

 

Nearly 40 years' experience of one of the world's largest
